Private Costa Rica Villa Perched on the Hills above Tambor

Costa Rica Jungle Paradise is a unique villa privately tucked away, perched in one of the highest hills, 2,000 feet above Tambor with sweeping views of the Bay and the surrounding jungles. Your nearest human neighbor is almost a mile away. Of course, primate neighbors such as howler monkeys spend some of their time right outside of the villa. You reach the villa via a one lane unpaved winding mountain road and will pass only a handful of houses along your way.

In the morning, you can sip a cup of locally grown Costa Rica coffee watching the sunrise over the Bay with just the sounds of the jungle - a wide variety of birds as well as nearby howler monkeys.

The villa is eight thousand square feet, featuring native hardwoods, towering 22 feet cathedral ceilings, fully screened windows with dramatic views and mountain breezes, linens and a casual tropical decor. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with basics. The villa easily sleeps 10 with 4 full bedrooms plus a lower level unit with 2 twin beds. There are 5 bathrooms with hot water showers and marble throughout the master bathroom. Ceiling fans are located throughout.

The open layout of the main floor (4,000 square feet) allows enjoyment of sweeping views, lots of light, the sounds of the jungle just outside your door. On a still day, you can even here the sound of the ocean in the distance. You won't hear the sound of traffic or loud human neighbors. You can enjoy it from inside or on a large furnished private deck just off the living area.

The villa is set on a lush manicured garden with palms, bananas, coffee trees, tropical flowers, and fruit trees. There is a kidney-shaped infinity pool with a nearby covered cabana with a gas barbeque grill. Two end to end hammocks provide the perfect shaded place to relax and enjoy the sounds and views of the jungle.
